These training wheels are very nice. They come with nuts and handles for two different thread sizes, and they can accommodate bikes with a straight horizontal slot for the back wheel or an angled slot for the back wheel. The flip-up feature is great when used with the TrailGator Tow Bar (Trail-Gator Trailgator Bicycle Tow Bar).
The only thing I did not like is that I couldn't get one wheel straight vertical like the other one. I don't think that's by design. It seems to be that the bracket shifts slightly in the direction of tightening the nut on the axle. Still works well regardless.

I received the product in a box that had obviously been opened and used by another customer. That did not bother me to much but what did become an issue is I am unable to get the hand knobs that attach the wheel arms to the bike axle to go on tight enough to hold the arms in place. The issue is the knob has a bolt inside of it and either there is a portion of the knob that inhibits the axle from going through or there is something up with the bolt within the knob. I am thinking about either drilling out the knob or maybe re-threading the bolt within the knob in an effort to make it work. Either case the quality seems to be substandard.
I think the have a good idea but they need to pay attention to quality more.

Love it! We didn't want to buy a trail-a-bike and a bike with training wheels for our children. So we bought the tow bar and the flip up training wheels. Now we have the best of both worlds! We can safely take our children out on their bikes for a city ride and then let them loose on their own on the bike trails. Highly recommend these!

The training wheels are good quality, they come with two sets of nuts and knobs for different threads on the hub. One could just buy the knobs and use the training wheels that come with just about any child's bicycle. The biggest issue is that these wheels are made to fit a varitey of sizes of child's bike. But as a result, they conflict with the typical chain guard on many medium and small childeren's bikes. I cut a notch in the chain guard to accommodate it, but not everyone will feel so resourcefull.

Easy to install. Had to make modification to plastic cover over chain on bike. Bike originally had training wheels on it when purchased for my older child. Didn't get much use out of them as apparently someone too large for the bike sat on it in the store and bent the training wheel bracket. Kept bending, so tossed them. Now that my younger child needed training wheels, I remembered seeing these. As I said, I had to cut away part of the plastic housing around the rear sprocket to accommodate the training wheels, but it was minor and quick. Unlike the original wheels, which were all plastic, these do have rubber "tires". They are a much smoother ride, and seem more sturdy. The flip up came in handy for transporting in the back of the minivan, and I'm sure will be handy when my child's confidence level is up.
I would highly recommend this product.
